This significant restoration project involved the careful rehabilitation of a protected neoclassical monument in Chania, combining historical preservation with modern expansion. The scope included both restoration of the original structure and a vertical addition of two floors, creating a harmonious blend of old and new.
Given the building's status as a protected city monument, the restoration process demanded exceptional attention to detail. All work was carried out under strict supervision of relevant authorities, ensuring that every aspect of the renovation respected and enhanced the structure's historical significance.
Today, this revitalized landmark serves as a modern office complex, housing various businesses alongside the Public Employment Service offices of Chania Municipality. The project stands as a testament to successful architectural preservation that meets contemporary needs while honoring historical heritage.
